Paying Your Rent
Taff understands that you lead busy lives and that sometimes remembering to pay your rent each week can be a hassle. That’s why we have developed several different ways that you can pay your rent to make it as easy and accessible as possible.
NEW!!! Chip ‘n Pin
You can pay your rent with your debit or credit card using our new ‘chip ‘n pin’ facility. This is located in the Reception area of our office.
NEW!!! Telephone Payments direct to Taff
Rent payments can now be made direct to Taff over the telephone. All you need is your debit or credit card.
Please contact the Rents Team on 02920 259100 to make a payment.
Rent Card
You can pay using your rent card at any Post Office, or any outlet displaying the Pay Point Logo. If you need a new rent card let us know and we will get one ordered.
Direct Debit
We can arrange to debit your rent directly from your bank account, at a frequency agreed with you. Just fill in a form and we’ll do the rest!
Standing Order
This is an instruction that you give to your bank to pay us on a regular basis. This differs from a direct debit, as you will be responsible for informing your bank of any changes in payments that are required, for example, when your rent increases. If you would like to pay by standing order, please complete the form here.
Debit/Credit Card – Using the Internet through our Allpay Service Centre
You can pay your rent on-line, 24 hrs a day using your debit or credit card.
You will need the following:
- Your allpay.net card number. This is displayed on the front of your rent card. If you do not have a rent card please telephone our Rent Team.
- Your debit/credit card number
- The expiry date of your debit/credit card
- The issue number of your debit/credit card (for Switch cards only)
- The amount you wish to pay
Cheque
Your cheque should be made payable to ‘Taff Housing Association’ and please remember to put your name and address on the back of the cheque.
Housing Benefit & Council Tax Benefit
If you are on a low income or on an income based benefit you may be eligible for housing benefit. To apply, please complete the relevant form (available from our office).
