We run a range of Customer Involvement groups at Taff, including special interest groups, equality groups and consultation groups that help shape the work of the association and help improve our services for all Customers.
Taff Tenant and Resident Association
This group is constituted and the Chair is Sue Carleton. Taff’s longest serving group meets every month and is made up of a diverse range of people who set their own Agenda and produce amazing results. The group is responsible for a whole range of events and are always open to hearing new ideas so if you have any, get in touch!
This group also manages the Food Co-op which is delivered every Friday from the Tenant Resource Room in the car park at Taff. If you would like to know more about getting a big bag of fresh fruit or vegetables for just £3, get in touch with the Community Investment Team at Taff
Scruitny Panel
This is a vital group for Taff as it ensures that we comply with regulation requirements by scrutinising our services. Tenants on the panel meet regularly to examine services and report their findings to Taff's Board. So far they have completed excellent reports on the Anti-Social Behaviour Policy and Procedure, The Rents Service and Customer Service at Taff. These can be read Here
Disability Awareness Group
This is a constituted group and the Chair is Keith Abdi.
This group of people meet monthly at Taff and share experiences relating to disability and care issues. They invite a range of speakers to talk on a variety of subject matters relating to disability and disseminate the information through the Taff Talkabout Newsletter

BME Housing Contact Group
This is a constituted group and the Chair is Keith Abdi.
This multi-national group meets monthly and is a consultative body for three Housing Associations and other organisations. One of their aims is to help break down barriers for Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) communities. Currently embarking on a communication Project looking at how communication is the main barrier for BME people when accessing services.
The BME Group organised a jobs and training road show in 4 venues across Cardiff
Taff Allotment Group
Based at Leckwith Allotments this constituted group is chaired by James Rides. The group are currently re-vamping the site to enable more access for people , more watering facilities and regular catch-ups for all members.
Every year we have an allotment action day, where group members, staff and local businesses get involved in the project..its great fun!

Taff Knitters and Natters
Held at one of our supported housing sites this group knit and natter every week. They make items for charities and also for fund raising and have knitted and crocheted a wide variety of things in the six years that the group has been in existence ranging from baby clothes for premature baby units to elephant blankets for India! This year they have raised over £3,000 for charities locally and abroad!
Chemo dolls knitted by the group, donated to young cancer patients
Our Knitters and Knatters recently held a Macmillan Cancer Coffee morning and raised a fantastic amount!
Have Your Say Group
Members of this group help our Managers to provide first class services to our tenants. They examine policy and plans and give their opinions as well as making suggestions for improving services which are in turn taken to Taff’s Board for consideration.
