Taff Housing Association has appointed their new Executive Director of People and Places.
Jackie Amos, who will be based in Taff’s head offices, will be responsible for a range of strategic and corporate objectives ensuring that the service that we deliver through people, for people, is first class, innovative and collaborative. She will work alongside Chief Executive Elaine Ballard and Executive Director of Business and Finance, Kate Innes .
Jackie’s experience within the sector is extensive, with nearly 20 years of experience in Supported Housing, and she is passionate about the well-being of all people. She was named ‘Inspirational Colleague’ at Cymorth Cymru’s most recent event due to her passion and determination for innovation to provide the best services to vulnerable people. Jackie, who is entering the role having been Taff’s Head of Support Services, has introduced psychologically informed approaches (known as PIE) to change the way that Taff works with clients. She is hoping that this can be delivered across the whole organisation.
Of her recent appointment, Jackie says: “I’m delighted to have been appointed as Taff’s Executive Director of People and Places. I am so proud of our achievements and the passion and commitment that we have to do the very best that we can for the people that we work with and for. I can’t wait to begin working in my new role with my lovely colleagues across the whole of this great organisation.”
Elaine Ballard, Taff Housing Association’s Chief Executive, says: “Jackie has that rare combination of thought leadership, expertise and motivational energy that any organisation would seek in a leader, so this is an excellent appointment for Taff’.”
