FAQs

We do! We work in an agile manner and we believe in finding a way of working that best suits you and that helps us to deliver the best possible services for our customers.

Some roles lend themselves to more flexibility than others but each team has their own team agreement that works best for them, balancing the needs of individuals with the needs of service delivery

We have offices in Cardiff, Newport and Bridgend. Many of our roles are based at our Head office with others based at our supported housing schemes or regional offices.

Not necessarily! Whilst we have some roles that may require experience in the sector, what’s important to us is your passion for helping other people by bringing fresh ideas and perspectives.

Of course, if the recruiting manager and contact details are not stated on the job pack, get in touch with our People Services Team on 02920 259173 for a chat.

You should hear back from us within a week of the vacancy closing via an email or a call. If you haven’t received an acknowledgement, have a quick check of your junk or spam email folders and if you’re still unable to find it, just give our People Services Team a ring on 02920 259173.

Of course! If you fit the job criteria, we’d love to read your application.

To make sure you’re right for the role and will fit in well at Taff, our selection process may include psychometric testing or a presentation. But don’t worry, you’ll be informed of anything you need to prepare in plenty of time.

All of our interviews are conducted virtually so make sure that your internet connection is ok, your camera is turned on and your audio is at the right setting.

Here’s some other tips to get you ready:

  • Research! Check out pages on our website such as commitment to equality and diversity, our latest annual report and our tenant groups. Our Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn pages also share our latest news.
  • Make sure your internet connection is ok!
  • Pay attention to detail by checking your background and eliminate any distractions.
  • Practice your answers to common interview questions out loud to build your confidence.
  • What questions do you have for us? What’s important to you in a workplace?

It can vary interview to interview, but usually it’s:

  • the recruiting manager
  • a member of the team you’re applying to join
  • another manager
  • and, depending on the post, one of our tenants may attend too

We do. And we’ll ask you if you need any additional requirements prior to your interview to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible.

We’ll usually contact you within a week. If you haven’t heard from us, or have something specific you’d like feedback on, just let us know!

We don’t. But when you have applied for a job, you can use the same account details to log in and apply again for another vacancy.
