What is Support?

Support is about promoting independence and enabling people to live in their own homes.  It can include help with:

Finding accommodation

Claiming benefits

Managing money

Understanding your tenancy - including rent arrears, neighbour disputes

Forms and other paperwork

Finding GPs and other health services

Managing addictions

How does Support Work?

Along with your Support Worker you will look at what you want to achieve and what support you will need to achieve it.  Meeting with your Support Worker once a week, you will look at the progress that you are making and agree what else you might need.

How will I know what to expect?

You will be given a copy of our Support Charter that tells you what you can expect from Support and also what we will expect from you. It covers all Tenants who are receiving support from Taff in their homes and those who are living in our Supported Housing Projects.
